This report was designed to provide a multidisciplinary overview of issues related to the safety and mobility of older drivers. The areas considered included the following: Mobility, travel patterns, and well-being; Vision, perception, and attention; Human biomechanics; and Alcohol effects. For each of these areas, major past findings are highlighted, along with promising research issues.
