The objective of the test program reported herein was the evaluation of maneuvering flaps as a means of increasing the lift of a high performance aircraft at the onset of Mach buffet and decreasing the level of buffet intensity so that the total maneuvering range of the aircraft is increased. The results of this evaluation are presented in this report. (Author)
