The missile may be dropped from an aircraft. The missile has a mid-fin stabilizer and an end stabilizer which initially stabilizes the load after release from an aircraft. The tail section is ejected to allow deployment of a parachute. The mid-fin stabilizes the load during the change from free flight to parachute sustained fall.
