Results of a limited and exploratory in-flight comparison of the Kaiser FP-50 Flight Director with standard C-131 instruments are given. The flight director was installed in a modified C-131 airplane that was piloted by two experienced naval aviators. Data were collected and analyzed on errors associated with altitude, heading, pitch, and roll maintenance. (Author)
