This is the final volume of a 9 volume study of approximately 200,000 California drivers. Total number of traffic convictions continued to be the best predictor, even after exposure data and variables were included in the equation. The authors interpreted the findings as supporting the notion that drivers do differ in accident liability, but that the role of person-centered factors is small. (Author Modified Abstract)
