The report reviews the simulation facilities of aerospace craft commonly used in the United States. An attempt is made to classify these facilities and to understand how and why they are needed and came into being, and how they are used. An indication of the use of flight control system simulators in the design of a vehicle in the United States is given. Some thoughts on the philosophy of use of simulation are offered and conclusions presented. (Author)
