NASA’s Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Sub-Project is engaged in research to support the introduction of air taxis into the National Airspace System. An important aspect of system development is to consider the human factors aspects of aircraft design. This presentation gives a background on human factors and suggests some important human factors issues for UAM and Advanced Air Mobility.
