A triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer was developed, fabricated, tested and calibrated for use in the NASA Get-Away-Special (GAS) to be flown on the space shuttle vehicle. It is to be used for the determination of the low-level vibration environment of the instrument pallet during orbital operation, and for the possible measurement of orbital drag deceleration.
