This letter shows that data rate of 10Gb/s can be transmitted a long distance of 1795km, the second-order dispersion of FBG is 3.7 x 10-20. Similarly, when the transmission can reach 480km with 40Gb/s, the second-order dispersion of FBG is 3 x 10-20.
