We have developed an imaging system for terahertz radiation based on two-dimensional electro-optic sampling using a high-speed CMOS camera operated in a differential mode synchronized to the pump laser. Suppression of background noise and a bipolar responsivity to THz field amplitude are observed. The system performance is discussed in comparison with the conventional system using a CCD camera.
