Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass eine Ist-Anregung Fahrzeugaufbaus des Kraftfahrzeugs bestimmt wird und die bestimmte Ist-Anregung mit einer hinterlegten Referenz-Anregung verglichen wird, wobei im Falle das die bestimmte Ist-Anregung kleiner als die hinterlegte Referenz-Anregung ist, die aktive Radaufhängung zum Stellen einer vertikalen Wankbewegung des Fahrzeugaufbaus freigeschaltet wird.
