The body unit has installed thereon the image formation unit and the projection unit. The position correction unit changes the display position of the virtual image relative to the body unit on the basis of an orientation signal indicating the orientation of the body unit. The position correction unit has a plurality of correction units that change the display position of the virtual image by mutually different means. The position correction unit selects at least one of the plurality of correction units according to frequency components of the orientation signal, and causes the selected correction unit to change the display position of the virtual image.
