The present invention relates to a crash pad for vehicles and a method for preparing the same, and more specifically, a crash pad for vehicles comprising a skin layer forming the outer surface of the crash pad provided with an air-bag module for vehicles; a foaming layer in intimate contact with the lower surface of the skin layer; and a core layer in intimate contact with the lower surface of the foaming layer to form an inner surface, wherein the skin layer has a tensile strength of about 10 to about 100 kgf/cm2 and an elongation at break of about 50 to about 600% according to JIS K6301 method when it has a layer thickness of about 0.2 mm to about 1.0 mm.
