According to some embodiments of the present disclosure, a device and method for remotely operating and managing a golf course are disclosed. The method, carried out by at least one processor of the device, comprises the steps of: storing map information for an entire golf course; collecting sensing information obtained within the golf course through at least one sensor mounted on at least one autonomous driving mobility; generating a maintenance management map for grass and divots of the golf course based on the sensing information and the map information; controlling operations for the maintenance of the grass and divots of the golf course of a first autonomous driving mobility based on the maintenance management map; receiving operation status information for maintenance of the first autonomous driving mobility; and controlling the operation of a second autonomous driving mobility to scan areas comprised in the maintenance management map based on the maintenance management map and the status information of the operation for the maintenance of the first autonomous driving mobility. The present invention can efficiently operate and manage a golf course remotely using autonomous driving mobility.
