Embodiments provide a method, computer program, apparatus, vehicle, and traffic entity for updating an environmental model at the vehicle. The method (10) for the vehicle (100) and for updating an environmental model of the vehicle (100) includes a step (12) of obtaining an environmental model of the vehicle (100), wherein the environmental model has static and dynamic objects in the environment of the vehicle (100) along at least a part of the trajectory of the vehicle. The method (10) further includes: a step (14) of assigning information related to correctness probabilities at least to dynamic objects of the environmental model; and a step (16) of determining at least one dynamic object for which the information related to the correctness probability indicates a correctness probability below a threshold. The method (10) further includes a step (18) of transmitting a broadcast message to the environment to request further information on the at least one dynamic object. The present invention can reduce the uncertainty of the environment model in the vehicle.
