The present invention relates to a suspension thrust bearing apparatus, comprising: a lower support cap (16); an upper bearing cap (14); and equal to or more than one bearings (18) arranged between the caps. The upper bearing cap (14) includes an outer skirt (14c) which radially surrounds the lower support cap (16). The lower support cap (16) includes equal to or more than one annular deflector flanges (34) extending toward the outer skirt (14c) of an upper bearing cap while remaining radially spaced from the outer skirt. The deflector flange (34) has the lower inclined surface (34a) extending obliquely downward. The suspension thrust bearing apparatus of the present invention is configured to be mountable between an upper retainer seat in a stationary position and a suspension spring.
