Provided are an around view monitoring system and an operating method thereof. The around view monitoring system comprises: a plurality of cameras for taking images of a plurality of camera areas located around a vehicle, respectively; an angle sensor for detecting a rotation angle of a rotation shaft included in the vehicle; an image generator for generating an around view image by matching the images received from the plurality of cameras; and a display unit for displaying the around view image. The image generator may change a screen display ratio of the vehicle image displayed on the display unit based on the rotation angle. An object of the present invention is to provide the around view monitoring system in which a reduction ratio of the around view image is automatically adjusted.
어라운드 뷰 모니터링 시스템 및 이의 동작 방법이 제공된다. 상기 어라운드 뷰 모니터링 시스템은, 차량 주변에 위치한 복수의 카메라 영역의 영상을 각각 촬영하는 복수의 카메라, 상기 차량에 포함된 회전축의 회전각도를 감지하는 각도센서, 상기 복수의 카메라로부터 수신된 영상을 정합하여 어라운드 뷰 영상을 생성하는 영상 생성부, 및 상기 어라운드 뷰 영상을 표시하는 디스플레이를 포함하되, 상기 영상 생성부는, 상기 회전각도를 기초로 상기 디스플레이부에 표시되는 차량 이미지의 화면표시비율을 변경한다.
