A disclosed vehicle door opening/closing apparatus includes: a vehicle body having a door frame limiting a door opening; a vehicle door formed to open or close the door opening; a rail mounted on the vehicle body; a roller unit mounted on the vehicle door, movable along the rail, and formed to allow the vehicle door to be opened/closed in one mode selected from among a sliding mode and a swing mode; a center rail extended from an edge of the door opening; and a center roller unit including rollers guided along the center rail, a roller bracket on which the rollers are mounted, a roller-side hinge element connected to the roller bracket, and a door-side hinge element connected to the roller-side hinge element to be rotatable through a hinge pin; a door-side docking unit combining the door-side hinge element with the vehicle door to be separable; and a frame-side docking unit combining the roller-side hinge element with the door frame to be separable. Therefore, the present invention is capable of improving convenience and marketability and significantly reducing costs and investments.
