The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a space frame structure of a vehicle using three-dimensional printing. The method includes the following steps of: analyzing a load characteristic of a node and a member constituting a vehicle body frame through structural analysis on the vehicle body frame; determining a shape for the node and the member based on the load characteristic of the node and the member; molding the node through three-dimensional, and molding the member; and coupling the member with the node to manufacture a space frame structure. According to the present invention, an aluminum material is used for a node (connection member) connecting members and three-dimensional printing is applied thereto to considerably reduce the weight of a vehicle body frame to increase fuel efficiency and improve the hardness of an engine compartment. At this time, as members are molded through a compression technique, additional lightening can be provided, and moreover, a safe space of a passenger space in accordance with an increase in energy adsorption can be secured in the case of a collision with a front side, and the frame can be prevented from being deformed by the collision, and, as a result, a distortion which can occur throughout the whole vehicle body can be prevented to provide stable driving performance.

    본 발명은 3D 프린팅을 이용한 차량의 스페이스 프레임 구조체의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 차체 프레임의 구조해석을 통해 차체 프레임을 구성하는 노드 및 멤버의 하중특성을 분석하는 단계; 노드 및 멤버의 하중특성을 바탕으로 노드 및 멤버의 형상을 결정하는 단계; 노드를 3D 프린팅으로 성형하고, 멤버를 성형하는 단계; 및 멤버와 노드를 결합시켜 스페이스 프레임 구조체를 제조하는 단계;를 포함한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 멤버를 연결하는 노드(연결부재)를 알루미늄 소재를 이용하여 3D 프린팅을 적용하여 차체 프레임의 중량을 크게 감소시켜 연비소율을 증대시킬 수 있으며, 엔진룸의 강성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 이때, 멤버류는 압착방식을 통해 성형함으로써 추가적인 경량화를 제공할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 전면 충돌 시 에너지 흡수율 증가에 따른 승객공간의 안전공간 확보가 가능하고, 충돌에 의해 프레임에 변형 등이 발생하는 것을 방지하여 전체적인 차체에 발생할 수 있는 왜곡현상을 방지하여 안정적인 주행성능을 제공할 수 있다.
