Disclosed is a thermal management system for a vehicle, which comprises: an indoor air conditioning device; a chiller performing heat exchange between a first refrigerant and a second refrigerant; a first line provided with a first pump, and circulating the first refrigerant through the chiller, a high-voltage battery cooling core, and an HVAC core in order; and a controller controlling whether to operate a blower, a first pump, and a compressor in accordance with an outdoor temperature of the vehicle and necessity of indoor air conditioning when a high-voltage battery needs to be cooled. Therefore, waste of energy can be minimized.

실내공조장치; 제1냉매와 제2냉매를 상호 열교환하는 칠러; 제1펌프가 구비되며, 칠러, 고전압배터리 냉각코어, HVAC코어 순으로 제1냉매를 순환시키는 제1라인; 압축기, 컨덴서, 칠러 순으로 제2냉매를 순환시키는 제2라인; 및 고전압배터리의 냉각이 필요한 경우, 차량 외기온도 및 실내공조의 필요 여부에 따라 블로워, 제1펌프 및 압축기의 가동 여부를 제어하는 제어기;를 포함하는 차량 열관리 시스템이 소개된다.
