When water treatment is performed in a low flow rate region, a purification unit is prevented from being exposed to a high-pressure state. According to the present invention, there is provided a water treatment device (10) for performing purification treatment on water, which includes purification units (11, 12), a first control valve FCV1, and a second control valve FCV2. The purification units (11, 12), the first control valve FCV1, and the second control valve FCV2 are respectively disposed on a purification line through which the water flows during the purification treatment, the first control valve FCV1 is disposed on an upstream side of the purification units (11, 12), the second control valve FCV2 is a control valve disposed on a downstream side of the purification units (11, 12) and capable of adjusting an opening degree, and the pressure of the water flowing through the purification units (11, 12) is dropped by the first control valve FCV1.
