The present invention provides an apparatus and a method for preventing glare during driving. According to the present invention, the apparatus for preventing glare during driving comprises: an illuminance detection unit configured to detect brightness of the outside of a vehicle; a filter unit installed on a windshield of the vehicle and operating by an electrical signal; and a control unit configured to block light of a specific area of the windshield of the vehicle by operating the filter unit when the brightness of the outside of the vehicle inputted from the illuminance detection unit becomes brighter than a set value.
본 발명은 주행 중 눈부심 방지 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 주행 중 눈부심 방지 장치 및 방법은, 차량 외부의 밝기를 감지하는 조도감지부; 차량의 윈드실드에 설치되어 전기적 신호에 의해 작동하는 필터부; 및 조도감지부로부터 입력된 차량 외부의 밝기가 설정치 이상으로 밝아지는 경우, 필터부를 작동시켜 차량의 윈드실드의 특정 영역의 빛이 차단되도록 하는 제어부;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
