INSULATION SYSTEM FOR NATURAL GAS CARGO OF CARRIER AND LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS FUEL TANK

The present invention relates to a membrane type insulation system for a hold of an ultra-low temperature liquefied gas carrier and a liquefied gas fuel container, wherein a plurality of panels are arranged in an intersecting manner such that the panels are arranged in a sandwich shape, which allows plywood or a composite material on the surface to generate less thermal contraction than a fiber reinforced polyurethane foam, thereby reducing the amount of contraction compared to that of a single panel. Furthermore, the intersecting arrangement reduces the interval which can appear between the panels, and prevents heat loss which can be caused by the interval from being connected to the interval between lower panels of a second insulation layer, thereby significantly reducing heat loss. Furthermore, because upper panels installed on the lower panels press the lower panels in a downward direction to perform a function of restricting the deformation of the lower panels, deformation of the panels is minimized, thereby reducing the strength burden of a second membrane caused by deformation of the panels.

본 발명은 극저온 액화가스 운반선의 화물창 및 액화가스 연료용기의 멤브레인형 단열시스템에 관한 것으로, 복수 개의 판넬을 교차로 배치하면 판넬이 샌드위치 형태로 배치되므로 표면의 플라이우드 또는 복합재가 섬유강화 폴리우레탄 폼보다 열 수축이 작게 발생하기 때문에 단일 판넬 보다 수축량이 줄어들며, 교차 배치로 인해서 판넬 사이에 발생할 수 있는 간극도 작을 뿐만 아니라 간극에서 발생할 수 있는 열손실이 2차 단열층의 하부 판넬 사이의 간극으로 연결되지 않아 열손실을 대폭 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 하부 판넬 위에 설치된 상부 판넬이 하부 판넬을 하방으로 눌러서 하부 판넬의 변형을 제약하는 기능을 가지고 있어 판넬에서 발생하는 변형을 최소한으로 줄여서 2차 멤브레인이 판넬의 변형에 의한 강도적 부담을 줄일 수 있다.
