The present invention relates to a wheel assembly with a wave pipe for a vehicle, which comprises: a wheel in which a tire is mounted; and a wave pipe member coupled to be mounted in a rim of the wheel, and having a wave pipe to generate an antiphase of a sound wave of which a wavelength is the same as a circumferential length of the tire, wherein the sound wave is generated in a cavity between the rim and the tire. According to the present invention, noise of the cavity of a vehicle is fundamentally removed, and a weight and production costs can be reduced.
본 발명은 타이어가 장착되는 휠(wheel) 및 상기 휠의 림(rim)에 안착 결합되고, 상기 림과 상기 타이어 간의 캐비티(cavity)에서 발생되는 음파 중 파장이 타이어의 원주 길이와 같은 음파의 역 위상을 발생시키는 파장관을 포함한 파장관 부재를 포함하는 자동차용 파장관 휠 어셈블리로서, 본 발명에 의하면, 차량의 캐비티 노이즈를 근본적으로 해결 가능하고, 중량 및 원가를 줄일 수가 있다.
