The present invention relates to an emergency shutdown system for regasification equipment (FSRU), which isolates a flow of liquid and vapor of liquefied natural gas (LNG) among an LNG carrier (LNGC), the FSRU, and a jetty, and safely perform shutdown when fire or an emergency occurs in a regasification cargo, and an operating method thereof. According to the present invention, the emergency shutdown system for FSRU comprises: an LNG emergency detection unit installed on an LNGC side to detect an emergency occurring in the LNGC and output an LNGC emergency occurrent notification signal; an FSRU emergency detection unit installed on an FSRU side to detect an emergency occurring in the FSRU and output a corresponding FRSU emergency occurrence notification signal; an emergency control unit to output an LNG equipment shutdown signal when the LNGC emergency occurrence notification signal is inputted, and to output an FSRU shutdown signal when the FSRU emergency occurrence notification signal is inputted; an LNG mode emergency shutdown unit to stop operation of LNG equipment in response to the LNG equipment shutdown signal; and an FSRU mode emergency shutdown unit to stop operation of the FSRUs in response to the FRSU shutdown signal. Accordingly, provided is an effect of securing safety with respect to an LNG/CNG emergency situation, which may occur in operation of the FSRU.

본 발명은 re-gasification cargo에서 화재 또는 비상사태가 발생하는 경우 LNG 선박(LNGC), 재기화설비(FSRU)와 부두(Jetty) 사이의 액화가스(LNG liquid)와 증기(vapor)의 이동을 격리시키고 안전하게 정지시키기 위한 재기화설비용 비상 정지 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, LNG 선박측에 마련되어, LNG 선박 내의 비상사태 발생 여부를 감지하고, LNG 선박 비상사태 발생 알림신호를 출력하는 LNG 비상사태 감지부; 재기화설비(FSRU)측에 마련되어, 재기화설비 내의 비상사태 발생 여부를 감지하고, 그에 대응하는 재기화설비 비상사태 발생 알림신호를 출력하는 재기화설비(FSRU) 비상사태 감지부; LNG 선박 비상사태 발생 알림신호가 입력되면 LNG 장비 작동정지신호를 출력하고, 재기화설비 비상사태 발생 알림 신호가 입력되면 재기화설비 장비 작동정지신호를 출력하는 비상사태 제어부; LNG 장비 작동정지신호에 응하여 LNG 장비들의 작동을 정지시키는 LNG 모드용 비상정지부; 및 재기화설비 장비 작동정지신호에 응하여 재기화설비 장비들의 작동을 정지시키는 재기화설비 모드용 비상정지부;를 포함한다. 이에 재기화설비(FSRU) 운전시 발생할 수 있는 LNG/CNG 비상상황에 대해서 안전성을 확보할 수 있도록 하는 효과가 있다.
