The present invention relates to a communication based train control system for processing automatic train registration and a registration method thereof, to process the automatic train registration in a ground automatic train protection (ATP) apparatus. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the communication based train control system comprises: a ground ATP apparatus transmitting a beacon message including ground ATP information; and an on-train ATP apparatus receiving the beacon message from the ground ATP apparatus and processing an automatic train registration based on the ground ATP information included in the beacon message.

    본 발명은 열차 자동 등록을 수행하는 통신기반 열차 제어 시스템 및 그 등록 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 형태에 따른 열차 자동 등록을 수행하는 통신기반 열차 제어 시스템은, 지상 ATP 정보를 포함하는 비콘(Beacon) 메시지를 송신하는 지상 ATP(Automatic Train Protection) 장치; 및 상기 지상 ATP 장치로부터 비콘 메시지를 수신하고, 상기 비콘 메시지에 포함된 지상 ATP 정보에 기초하여 열차 자동 등록을 수행하는 차상 ATP 장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
