본 발명은 전기자동차 스페어 배터리 및 배터리팩에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 전기자동차에 비상시를 대비한 스페어 배터리 및 배터리팩을 상시 구비함으로써, 운행 중 갑작스런 배터리방전으로 인해 도로에서 당황한 운전자가 스페어 배터리에 연결된 커넥터 및 배터리팩의 전원스위치를 켜(on)거나, 또는 차량의 실내 및 디스플레이에 위치한 스페어 배터리 전용의 전원스위치로 제어해서 전기자동차 내부의 인버터(MCU)와 저전압 직류전원장치(LDC) 및 차량제어장치(VCU)를 포함한 전력제어장치(EPCU) 및 배터리충전시스템을 포함한 충전기(OBC) 또는 모터 및 배터리에 직·간접적으로 연결돼 전원공급 및 충전해서 구동 모터 및 전동장치의 빠른 재가동으로 도로에서의 사고 및 교통정체를 예방하고 목적지 또는 전기충전소까지 구동이 가능한 전기자동차 스페어 배터리 및 배터리팩에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 전기자동차 스페어 배터리 및 배터리팩에 있어서, 상기 스페어 배터리는 배터리 본체를 전기자동차 내·외부에 고정하고 감전 및 발열을 차단하기 위한 케이스와 전원의 입·출력을 위한 전원단자 및 커넥터를 구비한다. 상기 배터리팩은 상기 스페어 배터리를 내장해서 전기자동차의 전력제어장치 및 충전기 또는 모터 및 배터리에 직·간접적으로 연결돼 전원공급 및 충전하는 장치로서, 상기 스페어 배터리를 모니터링하고 제어하는 배터리관리컨트롤러(BMC)를 구비하고, 상기 스페어 배터리의 온도 및 내부습도를 감지하는 온도센서 및 습도센서를 구비하며, 상기 온도센서 및 상기 습도센서의 제한된 측정값이 감지되면 공기의 순환 및 냉각을 위한 팬을 구비해서 상기 배터리관리컨트롤러에 연결돼 제어함으로써, 온도 및 습도 수치를 정상 값으로 유지한다. 그리고 상기 배터리관리컨트롤러는 교류전원의 전자제품을 차량 내·외부에서 사용하기 위해 상기 스페어 배터리의 직류전원을 교류전원으로 변환하기 위한 교류전원장치(Inverter)를 구비하고, 노트북, 스마트폰, 차량용 카메라 등 저전압의 직류전원기기에 전원을 공급하기 위해 직류전원장치(DC-DC converter)와 전원연결을 위한 전원포트 및 전원의 on/off를 나타내는 상태표시 LED를 구비해서 상기 스페어 배터리의 전원으로 교류 및 직류전원의 전자기기에 전원공급이 가능한 특징이 있다.

The present invention relates to a spare battery and battery pack for an electric vehicle, and more particularly, to a spare battery and battery pack for an electric vehicle, wherein the spare battery and battery pack are provided at all times in an electric vehicle in preparation for an emergency, such that a driver who is flustered on the road because of a sudden battery discharge while driving can turn on power switches of the battery pack and a connector connected to the spare battery, or control using dedicated spare battery power switches located inside the vehicle and on a display to directly or indirectly connect to an electric power control unit (EPCU) including a motor control unit (MCU), a low-voltage direct current power supply (LDC), and a vehicle control unit (VCU), an on-board charger (OBC) including a battery charging system or a motor, and a battery in the electric vehicle and thereby supply power and charge same and quickly restart a traction motor and drivetrain, thus making it possible to prevent accidents and traffic congestion on the road and drive to a destination or an electric charging station.
