The present invention relates to a three-dimensional electronic navigational chart display system including: at least one sailing information obtaining device obtaining sailing information data and transmitting the information along with unique device identification information; a sailing information collecting device collecting the unique device identification information as well as the sailing information data periodically or in real time; a three-dimensional coordinate conversion device converting position information of the ocean and the corresponding vessel into a three-dimensional spherical coordinate system; a display device displaying the converted position information on a display screen; and a control device receiving the converted position information and controlling the display screen of the display device to display the information. Therefore, the present invention is capable of preventing accidents on the sea and enabling a vessel to sail the shortest distance as well as making an effective contribution to safe sailing.

본 발명은 3차원 기반의 전자해도 표시 시스템에 관한 것으로, 선박의 특정 위치에 설치되며, 적어도 하나의 센서를 통해 선박운항에 필요한 항해 정보데이터를 획득하여 고유한 장치식별정보와 함께 전송하는 적어도 하나의 항해정보 획득장치와, 각 항해정보 획득장치로부터 전송된 해당 선박의 항해 정보데이터와 함께 고유한 장치식별정보를 주기적 또는 실시간으로 수집하는 항해정보 수집장치와, 상기 항해정보 수집장치로부터 수집된 해당 선박의 항해 정보데이터와 함께 고유한 장치식별정보를 제공받아 이를 기반으로 각 항해정보 획득장치별로 해당 선박의 항해 정보데이터를 데이터베이스(DB)화하여 저장 및 관리하는 항해정보 저장장치와, 국제 표준 규격에 따라 선박의 안전 항해에 필요한 정보를 갖는 전자해도(Electronic Navigational Chart, ENC)로부터 디지털 해양 지도 정보데이터를 획득하는 전자해도 정보획득장치와, 상기 항해정보 저장장치로부터 저장된 해당 선박의 항해 정보데이터와 상기 전자해도 정보획득장치로부터 획득된 디지털 해양 지도 정보데이터를 제공받아 이를 기반으로 위도에 따라 변하는 경도거리를 반영하여 해당 선박과 해양의 위치 정보를 3차원 구(Spherical) 좌표계로 변환하는 3차원 좌표변환장치와, 상기 3차원 좌표변환장치로부터 3차원 구 좌표계로 변환된 해당 선박과 해양의 위치 정보를 디스플레이 화면에 표시하는 디스플레이 장치와, 상기 3차원 좌표변환장치로부터 3차원 구 좌표계로 변환된 해당 선박과 해양의 위치 정보를 제공받아 이를 기반으로 3차원 그래픽 엔진(3D Graphics Engine)을 이용하여 사용자가 시각적으로 볼 수 있게 상기 디스플레이 장치의 디스플레이 화면에 표시되도록 제어하는 제어장치를 포함함으로써, 선박의 최단거리 운항 및 해양사고 예방과 더불어 안전운항에 효과적으로 도움을 줄 수 있다.
