The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for generating a panorama view comprising: a plurality of cameras which is installed outside a vehicle and collects images around the vehicle; an image junction unit which sets the collected images in a curved surface dimension, transforms and matches the images based on the set curved surface dimension to generate the matched image; and an image correcting unit which generates an offset curve for a free curve of the transformed images and configures a polygon between the free curve and the offset curve to blend the matched images.
차량 외부에 설치되어 차량 주변의 영상들을 수집하는 복수 개의 카메라, 자유 곡면을 이용하여, 수집된 영상들을 곡면 차수를 설정하여 설정된 곡면 차수를 기준으로 영상들을 변형하여 정합하여 정합 영상을 생성하는 영상 정합부, 변형된 영상들의 자유 곡선에 대하여 오프셋(offset) 곡선을 생성하고, 자유 곡선과 오프셋 곡선 간 폴리건(polygon)을 구성하여 정합 영상들을 블렌딩하는 영상 보정부를 포함하는 파노라마 영상 생성 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
