To provide a vehicle seat core material that is less likely to cause breakage such as cracks for a foamed particle molded product of a hooking tool embedded part provided in an insert member even in a vehicle seat core material in which the insert member is embedded inside a foamed particle molded product composed of foamed particles having a through hole.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat core material 100 includes: a foamed particle molded product 10 in which foamed particles each having a through hole are fused to each other; and an insert member 30 having a hooking tool 32 embedded in the foamed particle molded product. An average porosity of the entire foamed particle molded product is 5 vol.% or more. A porosity of a hooking tool embedded part with respect to the average porosity of the entire foamed particle molded product is 0.95 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
