To provide a supply facility and a control method thereof capable of supplying electricity regardless of a ship position.SOLUTION: Provided is a control method of a supply facility 1 for supplying electricity to a ship. The supply facility 1 preliminarily includes a power generation mechanism 2 for generating electricity and a first auxiliary ship 3 on which the power generation mechanism 2 is mounted. In the control method, the first auxiliary ship 3 is brought close to the ship and is connected with the ship by a cable 6, so as to supply electricity from the first auxiliary ship 3 to the ship via the cable 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
