To provide a leather-tone material having toughness and resilience while exerting high designability by heightening a degree of freedom in variation of appearances of a leather-tone material.SOLUTION: A leather-tone knitted fabric has a leather-tone inserted string inserted into a weft knitted fabric where the weft knitted fabric is composed of a ground yarn other than a material of the leather-like inserted string, the leather-tone inserted string is composed of a cork string, an apple leather string, or a synthetic leather string, and the leather-tone inserted string is such that a part capable of observing the leather-tone inserted string from a surface side of the weft knitted fabric and a part hiding in the weft knitted fabric are formed alternately by being inserted into a plurality of stitches in a weft direction of the weft knitted fabric.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17

【課題】レザー調素材の外観のバリエーションの自由度を高めることで高度の意匠性を発揮しつつ、丈夫で柔軟性を有するレザー調素材を提供する。【解決手段】緯編地に挿入されたレザー調挿入紐を有するレザー調素材において、前記緯編地はレザー調挿入紐の素材以外の地糸で構成され、前記レザー調挿入紐は、コルク紐、アップルレザー紐又は合成皮革紐で構成され、前記レザー調挿入紐は前記緯編地の緯方向の複数の編み目に挿入されることにより前記緯編地の表面側から前記レザー調挿入紐が見える部分と前記緯編地に隠れている部分とが交互に形成されている、ことを特徴とするレザー調素材。【選択図】図１７
