To appropriately avoid a congestion by stopped vehicles waiting to enter.SOLUTION: A map server 3 performs: acquiring probe information capable of identifying travel lanes related to respective vehicles; acquiring a congestion occurrence condition when a congestion repetitively occurs with predetermined regularity on a specific lane at a specific point based on the probe information; and generating specific lane congestion information related to a congestion state on the specific lane based on the congestion occurrence condition. A control device of a vehicle performs: acquiring the specific lane congestion information to be distributed from the map server; and controlling travel of the vehicle so as to avoid the congestion predicted to occur on the specific lane based on the specific lane congestion information. Especially, the map server generates information related to a congestion (congestion to wait entering) due to the vehicles stopped on a lane L1 on a road shoulder side to enter a facility along the road from the lane L1 on the road shoulder side as the specific lane congestion information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】進入待ちの停止車両による渋滞を適切に回避する。【解決手段】地図サーバ3が、各車両に関する走行レーンを識別可能なプローブ情報を取得し、そのプローブ情報に基づいて、特定地点の特定レーンにおいて渋滞が所定の規則性をもって繰り返し発生する際の渋滞発生条件を取得し、その渋滞発生条件に基づいて、特定レーンにおける渋滞状況に関する特定レーン渋滞情報を生成し、車両の制御装置が、地図サーバから配信される特定レーン渋滞情報を取得し、その特定レーン渋滞情報に基づいて、特定レーンに発生することが予測される渋滞を回避するように車両の走行を制御する。特に地図サーバが、特定レーン渋滞情報として、路肩側のレーンL1から道路沿いの施設に進入するために路肩側のレーンL1上に停止した車両を原因とする渋滞(進入待ち渋滞)に関する情報を生成する。【選択図】図3
