To provide a main circuit system for a railroad vehicle that can be miniaturized while occurrence of deviation of a heat generation portion is suppressed.SOLUTION: The present disclosure relates to a main circuit system for a railroad vehicle, including: a converter that converts single-phase AC power to output DC power; an inverter that converts the DC power output from the converter to output three-phase AC power; a six-pole electric motor that is driven by the three-phase AC power output from the inverter; and a radiator disposed under the vehicle floor and configured to cool the converter and the inverter by traveling wind. The converter and the inverter are configured such that the maximum energy loss of each phase of the converter and the maximum energy loss of each phase of the inverter are equal when the electric motor is driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】発熱箇所の偏りの発生を抑制しつつ小型化が可能な鉄道車両用主回路システムを提供する。【解決手段】本開示は、単相交流電力を変換して直流電力を出力するコンバータと、コンバータが出力した直流電力を変換して三相交流電力を出力するインバータと、インバータが出力した三相交流電力により駆動する６極の電動機と、車両床下に配置されると共に、走行風によってコンバータ及びインバータを冷却する放熱体と、を備える鉄道車両用主回路システムである。コンバータ及びインバータは、電動機の駆動時におけるコンバータの各相の最大エネルギー損失とインバータの各相の最大エネルギー損失とが等しくなるように構成される。【選択図】図１
