To provide a blower in which water adhering to an exterior of a casing is surely prevented from entering a cooling passage.SOLUTION: In a blower 10, a casing 16 comprises an upper case part 30 and a lower case part 32 which can be divided in an axial direction of a fan 14. The upper case part 30 includes: a first passage part 42 forming a part of the inner periphery side of an air blowing passage 34; a storage part 50 which is located adjacent to the outer periphery side of a suction port 38, recessed to a lower case part 32 side, and may store water; and a drain port 58 communicating with the air blowing passage 34. Meanwhile, the lower case part 32 has a second passage part 62 forming a part of the inner periphery side of the air blowing passage 34, an air intake port 72 for taking air into first and second cooling passages 84, 86 is open at the second passage part 62, and an inner peripheral wall 62a of the second passage part 62 is offset from an inner peripheral wall 42c of the first passage part 42 in a direction away from the air blowing passage 34 to form a recessed part 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

【課題】送風機において、ケーシングの外部に付着した水の冷却用通路への浸入を確実に防止する。【解決手段】送風機１０において、ケーシング１６は、ファン１４の軸方向に分割自在な上部ケース部３０及び下部ケース部３２からなり、前記上部ケース部３０には、送風通路３４の内周側の一部を構成する第１通路部４２と、前記吸入口３８の外周側に隣接し下部ケース部３２側へと窪んで水を貯留可能な貯留部５０と、前記送風通路３４とを連通する排水口５８とを備えている。一方、下部ケース部３２は、送風通路３４の内周側の一部を構成する第２通路部６２を有し、該第２通路部６２に第１及び第２冷却通路８４、８６へ空気を取り込むための空気取入口７２が開口すると共に、前記第２通路部６２の内周壁６２ａが前記第１通路部４２の内周壁４２ｃに対して前記送風通路３４から離間する方向へオフセットして凹部７０が形成される。【選択図】図４
