To provide a monitoring method for image acquisition equipment, which can reduce the amount of manual detection work and at the same time, can improve an accuracy of the detection by determining a marking line in a first video image with use of a stop position of a vehicle; comparing the marking line with a reference marking line; and determining a deviation state of the image acquisition equipment based on a comparison result.SOLUTION: A monitoring method for image acquisition equipment comprises: determining a stop position of each target vehicle from a first video image acquired by the image acquisition equipment; determining a marking line in the first video image based on the stop position of each target vehicle; determining the amount of deviation of the marking line from a reference marking line in the first video image; and determining that the image acquisition equipment is out of alignment when the amount of deviation meets a specified condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
