To provide a dynamic brake resistor, a dynamic brake resistor unit, and a dump truck of an electric drive system which are able to increase the heat transfer coefficient of a heating resistor and improve heat radiation performance.SOLUTION: A dynamic brake resistor 100 converts electric energy generated by regenerative braking into thermal energy, and includes: a belt-like heating resistor 110 repeatedly folded back so as to have a constant spacing P; and a first side plate 122 and a second side plate 123 which are provided so as to be spaced apart from each other in the repetition direction of the heating resistor 110, and which have the heating resistor 110 arranged therebetween. In the repetition direction of the heating resistor 110, when a spacing between the first side plate 122 and the heating resistor 110 adjacent thereto is m, a spacing between the second side plate 123 and the heating resistor 110 adjacent thereto is m+P/n (n is a natural number of 2 or more).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】発熱抵抗体の熱伝達率を高めることができ、放熱性能を向上できる発電ブレーキ抵抗体、発電ブレーキ抵抗体ユニット及び電気駆動方式のダンプトラックを提供する。【解決手段】発電ブレーキ抵抗体１００は、回生制動によって生じた電気エネルギを熱エネルギに変換するものであり、一定の間隔Ｐを有するように繰り返し折り返された帯状の発熱抵抗体１１０と、発熱抵抗体１１０の繰り返し方向に離れて設けられるとともに、間に発熱抵抗体１１０が配置される第１側板１２２及び第２側板１２３とを備える。発熱抵抗体１１０の繰り返し方向において、第１側板１２２とそれに隣接する発熱抵抗体１１０との間隔をｍとしたとき、第２側板１２３とそれに隣接する発熱抵抗体１１０との間隔はｍ＋Ｐ／ｎ（ｎは２以上の自然数）である。【選択図】図１
