To provide an air cleaning system for a vehicle and a control method of the air cleaning system for a vehicle which can suppress unclean air from flowing in a cabin.SOLUTION: An air cleaning system includes: a first passage which has a first heating device (130-1), a first absorption block (140-1), and a first passage switching mechanism (150-1) and communicates with a cabin of a vehicle; a second passage which has a second heating device (130-2), a second absorption block (140-2), and a second passage switching mechanism (150-2) and communicates with the cabin of the vehicle; a blower (110) which circulates air from the cabin; an air distribution mechanism (120) which distributes the air flowing from the cabin to the first passage and the second passage; and a control device (20) which controls each component at a timing which can suppress the air from flowing in the cabin from the passage on a side with a cleaned substance desorbed in switching the passage for flowing the air passing through the first absorption block and the air passing through the second absorption block.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

【課題】浄化できていない空気が車室内に流れるのを抑制することができる車両用空気清浄化システムおよび車両用空気清浄化システムの制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】第１加熱装置（１３０−１）、第１吸着ブロック（１４０−１）、および第１流路切り替え機構（１５０−１）を備え、車両の車室と連通する第１流路と、第２加熱装置（１３０−２）、第２吸着ブロック（１４０−２）、および第２流路切り替え機構（１５０−２）を備え、車両の車室と連通する第２流路と、車室からの空気を流通させる送風機（１１０）と、車室から流れる空気を第１流路と第２流路とに分配する空気分配機構（１２０）と、第１吸着ブロックを通過した空気と、第２吸着ブロックを通過した空気とを流す流路を切り替える際に、浄化対象物質を脱着している側の流路から車室に空気が流れるのを抑制可能なタイミングで、それぞれの構成要素を制御する制御装置（２０）と、を備える。【選択図】図１
