To provide a display device capable of continuing an easy-to-see information display regardless of intensity of direct light.SOLUTION: A display device 100 is provided in the compartment of a vehicle. The display device 100 includes a transparent display 70 for displaying an information image 72 on a display surface 71 capable of transmitting light and a light-shielding display 80 for displaying a light-shielding image 82 capable of adjusting the transmissivity of light. The light-shielding display 80 is disposed so as to overlap a rear surface 73 of the transparent display 70. The display device 100 synchronizes a display change of the light-shielding image 82 with a display change of the information image 72. Furthermore, the display device 100 acquires the intensity of direct light directed toward the transparent display 70 and adjusts the transmissivity of the light-shielding image 82 lower as the intensity of the direct light increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】直射光の強さにかかわらず、見易い情報表示を継続できる表示装置の提供。【解決手段】表示装置１００は、車両の車室内に設けられている。表示装置１００は、光を透過可能な表示面７１に情報画像７２を表示する透明ディスプレイ７０と、光の透過率を調整可能な遮光画像８２を表示する遮光ディスプレイ８０とを備えている。遮光ディスプレイ８０は、透明ディスプレイ７０の背面７３に重ねて配置されている。表示装置１００は、遮光画像８２の表示変化を、情報画像７２の表示変化に同期させる。さらに表示装置１００は、透明ディスプレイ７０へ向かう直射光の強さを取得し、直射光が強くなるほど、遮光画像８２の透過率を低く調整する。【選択図】図２
