To provide an occupant protection device which can reliably restrain an occupant and improve a protection function upon collision of a vehicle, and which allows the occupant to quickly get out of the vehicle after an impact subsides.SOLUTION: An occupant protection device 30 includes a first airbag body 101 and a second airbag body 102. In each of the first airbag body 101 and the second airbag body 102, an adhesive is applied to a prescribed area. The adhesive exerts adhesive strength when heated. In addition, the first airbag body 101 includes a fragile part 101b which can be easily broken in a direction different from the restraining direction of an occupant P, so that the first airbag body 101 can be broken by a prescribed motion. As a result, during deployment of an airbag, the occupant P can be reliably held in a seat 10, and a protection function can be improved. Further, after a collision impact subsides, it is made possible to quickly get out of a vehicle by releasing restraint.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両の衝突時に、乗員を確実に拘束し、保護機能を高めるとともに、衝撃の収束後に、素早く脱出を可能とすることができる乗員保護装置を提供する。【解決手段】乗員保護装置30は、第1エアバッグ袋体101および第2エアバッグ袋体122を有し、第1エアバッグ袋体101および第2エアバッグ袋体102には、それぞれ所定領域に接着剤が塗布されており、この接着剤は熱が加えられることにより接着力を発揮する。また、第1エアバッグ袋体101には、乗員Pの拘束の方向とは異なる方向に切断容易な脆弱部101bを有しており、所定の動作で第1エアバッグ袋体101を切断することができる。これにより、エアバッグの展開時には、乗員Pを座席シート10に確実に保持し、保護機能を高めるとともに、衝突衝撃の収束後には、拘束を解除して、素早く脱出を可能とすることができる。【選択図】図2
