【課題】携帯端末で車載機器を作動させる際の応答性とセキュリティ性との両立を可能にしたカーシェアリングシステムを提供する。【解決手段】携帯端末２２及びカーシェア装置２３は、近距離無線通信を確立する通信接続時、チャレンジレスポンス認証を実行する。チャレンジレスポンス認証の成立後、携帯端末２２及びカーシェア装置２３は、単方向通信によって通信を実行する。このように、携帯端末２２及びカーシェア装置２３が近距離無線通信を行うにあたり、通信接続時のみチャレンジレスポンス認証を実行し、認証確立後、以降は単方向通信によって通信を実行する。【選択図】図１
