PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a parking assistance device that makes it possible to reduce a possibility that a vehicle may come into contact with an obstacle or the like, for example, when stationary steering control is exerted.SOLUTION: A parking assistance device according to an embodiment comprises: a steering angle calculating section, a path acquiring section, and a movement control section. When a vehicle turns back to enter a parking frame, the steering angle calculating section calculates a steering angle by using, as the position of the turning center of the vehicle, a position away from the parking frame further than the outer end, opposite to an advancing direction, of the vehicle in the turning-back position of the vehicle, along a first direction perpendicular to the entering direction of the vehicle with respect to the parking frame. On the basis of the calculated steering angle and the turning-back position, the path acquiring section acquires a movement path for the vehicle. On the basis of the movement path thus acquired, the movement control section moves the vehicle by exerting stationary turning control in which the vehicle is steered while it is stationary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】一例として、据え切り制御を行う場合に、車両が障害物等に接触する可能性を低減することを可能にする駐車支援装置を得る。【解決手段】実施形態にかかる駐車支援装置は、転舵角算出部と、経路取得部と、移動制御部と、を備える。転舵角算出部は、車両が駐車枠に進入するために切り返しを行う場合に、駐車枠に対する車両の進入方向と垂直な第一の方向に沿って、車両の切り返し位置における車両の進行方向と反対側の外端部よりも駐車枠から離れた位置を、車両の旋回中心の位置とした転舵角を算出する。経路取得部は、算出された転舵角と、切り返し位置とに基づいて、車両の移動経路を取得する。移動制御部は、取得された移動経路に基づいて、車両が停車した状態で転舵する据え切り制御を行い、車両を移動させる。【選択図】図3
