PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve occupant protection performance.SOLUTION: An occupant protection device has a right knee airbag 21 and a left air bag 31 which are extended to a knee part of an occupant from both right and left sides of an occupant seated on a sheet 4 of a vehicle and press the knee part. The right knee airbag 21 has a front contact surface 25 of a right knee in contact with a front side of a right knee part of the occupant. The left knee airbag 31 has a front contact surface 35 of a left knee in contact with a front side of a left knee part of the occupant. The front contact surface 25 of the right knee and the front contact surface 35 of the left knee are brought into contact with the front of both of the right and left knee parts of the occupant in a state in which the right knee airbag 21 and the left knee airbag 31 are extended at the time of collision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
