PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing trans-type polyisoprenoid with which the production of trans-rubber can be increased.SOLUTION: A method for producing a trans-type polyisoprenoid in vitro using rubber particles bound to a protein coded by a gene coding for trans-type prenyltransferase (tPT) family protein. Furthermore, a method for producing trans-type polyisoprenoid by the expression of a protein encoded by a gene specifically in the milk duct by introducing, into a plant, a vector in which a promoter having promoter activity for expressing genes specifically in the milk duct is bound to a gene encoding the tPT family protein.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】 トランスゴムの増産を可能にする、トランス型ポリイソプレノイドの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】 トランス型プレニルトランスフェラーゼ(tPT)ファミリー蛋白質をコードする遺伝子を利用し、当該遺伝子がコードする蛋白質を結合させたゴム粒子を利用した生体外でのトランス型ポリイソプレノイドの製造方法、または、乳管特異的に遺伝子を発現させるプロモーター活性を有するプロモーターに、tPTファミリー蛋白質をコードする遺伝子を結合させたベクターを植物に導入し、乳管特異的に当該遺伝子がコードする蛋白質を発現させることによるトランス型ポリイソプレノイドの製造方法。【選択図】なし
