COOLANT RESERVOIR TANK OF SADDLE-RIDING TYPE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coolant reservoir tank of a saddle-riding type vehicle which secures sufficient capacity while arranged between pivot plates and enables a user to easily check an amount of a coolant.SOLUTION: A coolant reservoir tank 50 of a saddle-riding type vehicle 1 has: a pair of left and right main frames 2a extending from a head tube 9 to the lower rear side; and a pair of left and right pivot plates 18L, 18R which are connected to rear parts of the main frames 2a and pivotally support front ends of swing arms 21 so that the swing arms 21 can swing. The coolant reservoir tank 50 includes a tank body 52 which stores a coolant entering into and discharged from a radiator 13. A reinforcement plate 60 oriented in a vehicle width direction and connecting the pivot plates 18L, 18R with each other is provided between the pair of left and right pivot plates 18L, 18R. A fitting part 52a of the tank body 52 which is located close to the reinforcement plate 60 is fitted from a through hole 60a formed at the reinforcement plate 60 to the vehicle rear side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

【課題】ピボットプレートの間に配置しつつ十分な容量を確保して冷却水量の確認もしやすい鞍乗型車両の冷却水リザーバタンクを提供する。【解決手段】ヘッドパイプ９から後方下方に延びる左右一対のメインフレーム２ａと、該メインフレーム２ａの後部に接続されると共にスイングアーム２１の前端を揺動自在に軸支する左右一対のピボットプレート１８Ｌ，１８Ｒとを有する鞍乗型車両１の冷却水リザーバタンク５０において、ラジエータ１３に出入りする冷却水を貯留するタンク本体５２を備え、左右一対のピボットプレート１８Ｌ，１８Ｒの間に、車幅方向に指向してピボットプレート１８Ｌ，１８Ｒを互いに連結する補強プレート６０を設ける。補強プレート６０に近接配置されるタンク本体５２の嵌合部５２ａを、補強プレート６０に形成された貫通孔６０ａから車体後方側に嵌合させる。【選択図】図６
