PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease visibility when vehicle inside is viewed from vehicle outside while ensuring visibility when vehicle outside is viewed from the vehicle inside.SOLUTION: In a front pillar 30, a pillar part 32 comprises a layering structure in which a transparent member 42 is layered. Here, as viewed from a vehicle side, an angle between a first reference line L1 extending in a direction perpendicular to the layering direction of the transparent member 42 and a second reference line L2 is 20° or larger but 60° or smaller. Accordingly, about 50% or more of the transmissivity of light, which is transmitted through the pillar part, can be ensured when vehicle outside is viewed from the inside of the vehicle chamber via the pillar part. For example, when a person outside the vehicle views down the inside of the vehicle chamber through the pillar part, the transmissivity of light, which is transmitted through the pillar part, can be made less than about 50%, in a range where an angle formed by a line of sight of a person outside the vehicle and the first reference line is 0°or larger but smaller than 20°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車室内から車両外側を視認したときの視認性を確保しつつ車両外側から車室内を視認したときの視認性を低下させる。【解決手段】フロントピラー30では、ピラー部32が、透明部材42を積層した積層構造を成している。ここで、車両側面視において、透明部材42の積層方向に対して直交する方向に延びる第1基準線L1と、前後方向に沿って延びる線を第2基準線L2との成す角度が20°以上で且つ60°以下に設定されている。これにより、ピラー部を介して車室内から車両外側を視認したときの、ピラー部を透過する光の透過率を約50%以上に確保することができる。また、例えば、車両外側の人がピラー部を介して車室内を見下ろして視認するときには、車両外側の人の視線と第1基準線との成す角度が、0°以上で且つ20°未満となる範囲において、ピラー部を透過する光の透過率を約50%よりも小さくできる。【選択図】図1
