PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting a power force through a speed change gear having a plurality of balls respectively comprising tiltable axis and rotating around the axis.SOLUTION: A method of this invention comprises the steps for receiving an input power force through a rotatable input disc arranged adjacent to balls and contacted to each of the balls; determining a desired output power force of a speed change gear; adjusting inclination angles of a plurality of balls on the basis of one of a desired speed ratio or a torque ratio corresponding to a desired output power force; and routing a power force received through one of the output disc or a rotatable idler. The output disc is arranged to be adjacent to the balls at an opposite side of the input disc and contacted with each of the balls. The idler is arranged to be contacted with each of the balls inside in a radial direction of each of the balls. The idler is connected to an idler shaft receiving an output power force from the idler and adapted for feeding out the output power force from the speed change gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

【課題】各々が傾斜可能な軸を有し当該軸の周りを回転する複数の玉を有する変速機を介して動力を伝達する方法を提供する。【解決手段】本方法は、玉に隣接し各玉に接触するように配置される回転可能な入力ディスクによって入力動力を受け取るステップと、変速機の所望の出力動力を決定するステップと、所望の出力動力に対応する所望の速度比又はトルク比の一方に基づく、複数の玉の傾斜角度を調整するステップと、出力ディスク又は回転可能なアイドラの一方を介して受け取った動力をルーティングするステップとを含む。出力ディスクは、入力ディスクの反対側で玉に隣接し各玉に接触するように配置される。アイドラは、各玉の径方向内側において各玉に接触するように配置される。アイドラは、アイドラからの出力動力を受け取り、当該出力動力を変速機から送り出すのに適合したアイドラシャフトに結合される。【選択図】図１
