PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display that enables a vehicle passenger to perceive a vehicle state sensitively.SOLUTION: A tachometer 2 that serves as a display comprises: a number plate 5 having a meter design 54 formed in a circumferential direction thereof; and an indicator 6 that points out a part of the meter design that indicates a current engine rotating speed, in the meter design 54. On the number plate 5, a plurality of light transmission parts 55 is formed in the circumferential direction concentric with the circular center of the meter design 54. On the rear side of the number plate 5, a light guide element is provided and reflection parts that reflect light incident on the light guide element toward a visual observation side (light transmission parts 55-side) are formed in portions of the light guide element that overlap the respective light transmission parts 55. A plurality of LEDs 14a to 14g supplying the light to the respective reflection parts is disposed in an annular inner circumferential edge of the light guide element. A vehicle ECU sequentially, switchably turns on and off the LEDs 14a to 14g in order of arrangement, thereby enabling the light transmission parts 55 to look as if the light transmission parts 55 rotates, and changes the rotation speed and rotation color thereof in response to the engine rotating speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】車両の乗員に、車両の状態を感応的に認知させることができる表示装置を提供する。【解決手段】表示装置としてのタコメータ２は、円周方向にメータ意匠５４が形成された文字板５と、メータ意匠５４のうち現在のエンジン回転数を示す部分を指示する指針６とを備える。文字板５には、メータ意匠５４の円中心と同心の円周方向に複数の光透過部５５が形成されている。文字板５の裏側には、導光体が配置され、その導光体の各光透過部５５に重なる部分には、導光体内に入射された光を目視者側（光透過部５５の側）に反射させる反射部が形成される。導光体の環状の内周縁には、各反射部に光を供給する複数のＬＥＤ１４ａ〜１４ｇが配置される。車両ＥＣＵは、ＬＥＤ１４ａ〜１４ｇを配置順にしたがって順番に点灯、消灯を切り替えることで、光透過部５５があたかも回転しているように見せ、エンジン回転数に応じてその回転速度や回転色を変化させる。【選択図】図２
