PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of reliably preventing damage of a lower limb of a seating person upon collision.SOLUTION: In an airbag device 10 provided with an airbag body 22 which is expanded and developed between feet f of a seating person and a floor panel 12 of a vehicle, the airbag body 22 comprises a rear expansion part 22a which expands higher than a part opposite to a back surface fb of a foot on a rear side of the heel fh of the seating person in the expansion and development state and a front expansion part 22b which expands higher than a part opposite to the back surface fb of the foot on a front side of the tiptoe ft of the seating person in the expansion and development state. Thereby, it is prevented that a lower limb L of the seating person is pushed to a car body rear side and is pushed out to a car body front side and, therefore, damage of the lower limb L of the seating person upon collision can be reliably prevented.
【課題】衝突時における着座者の下肢の損傷を確実に防止することのできるエアバッグ装置を提供すること。【解決手段】着座者の足ｆと車両のフロアパネル１２との間で膨張展開するエアバッグ体２２を備えたエアバッグ装置１０において、エアバッグ体２２は、膨張展開状態で着座者の踵ｆｈの後方側に足の裏面ｆｂに対向する部分よりも高く膨張する後方膨張部２２ａと、膨張展開状態で着座者のつま先ｆｔの前方側に足の裏面ｆｂに対向する部分よりも高く膨張する前方膨張部２２ｂと、を備える。これにより、着座者の下肢Ｌが車体後方に押されることが防止されるとともに車体前方に押し出されることも防止されることとなるので、衝突時における着座者の下肢Ｌの損傷を確実に防止することができる。【選択図】図１
