The energy harvester may comprise a piezoelectric device. The first aircraft component comprising a three-dimensional lattice structure 4 comprising a multiplicity of unit cells, the unit cells comprising multiple lattice-forming members, the unit cells having a mean greatest dimension of at least 10nm. There is a further disclosed methods of generating electrical power utilising an aircraft component comprising an energy harvester of the sort disclosed, a method of sensing for the presence of a non-standard operating condition in an aircraft utilising an aircraft component comprising an energy harvester of the sort disclosed, and a method of designing an aircraft component comprising an energy harvester of the sort disclosed.
